Galaxy Sports Group opened its doors September 1st, 2012 to a small group of competitive gymnasts. These girls competed in their first compulsory meet September 15th, 2012. Since then, we have grown tremendously in size, yet still maintain a family-like setting by developing friendships with many of the families who attend Galaxy.
Galaxy places great pride in offering its students excellent coaching and small class sizes in a fun, safe environment where each child will be encouraged to do their best in developing physical fitness, agility, strength, flexibility, and spatial awareness.
Programs that are currently offered at Galaxy are: Parent + Me (parent participation class), Pre-K Coed Gymnastics, Boys & Girls Recreational Gymnastics, Girls Junior Olympic Competitive Team, Girls Xcel Competitive Team, Coed Ninja Kids, Coed Tumbling, and Competitive Tumbling + Trampoline.
Galaxy is comprised of an experienced and caring team of coaches and administrative staff committed to providing your children with an amazing athletic experience. Our mission is to be a positive influence in our community by empowering children through athletics. The common theme you will find among our staff is that we all love working with children and have a passion for gymnastics and tumbling. We feel honored to be coaches, role models, and mentors to so many amazing kids!
All of Galaxy’s coaches are experienced in their area of specialty and participate in continuing education and training to remain up-to-date on the latest safety and coaching techniques as well as pass a national background check. Our coaches work with children of all ages to teach athletics, healthy habits, confidence, goal-setting, dedication, and resiliency – all of which are instrumental in having a fun and challenging experience with gymnastics, tumbling, and ninja, but also carry over to other areas of life – including academics, social settings, other athletic activities, and beyond.
