Galaxy Sports Group is a local family-owned gymnastics studio. We are not a big-box type of business and never will be: we don’t want to be the kind of facility where our customers are anonymous to us. We want to get to know your kids and help them progress in our programs. We want to maintain that welcoming family-feel within our gym. We will always focus on why we do this in the first place: To empower children through athletics and teach them how strong and successful they can be. While we have grown over the years and plan to continue to grow into the future, our core values and goals remain the same.
We set out to create a space where we wanted to be, to create a culture that we feel great about, and a place we would feel safe sending our children to. Galaxy officially opened on September 1, 2012. We work only with coaches whose ethics are in line with our own – coaches who focus on the well-being and personal development of our athletes. We understand the importance of athletes knowing that they are supported and cared for. Galaxy’s coaches work to inspire and encourage all athletes and will coach each of them to the highest levels.
We want to help shape the future of our community – a future full of amazing, capable, and ambitious young people who are not afraid of trying, who give their best effort, and who recognize how successful and unstoppable they can be when pursuing their goals.
Galaxy’s coaches are members of USA Gymnastics, are Safety Certified, and must pass a background check. All of Galaxy’s coaches participate in continuing education and training to remain up-to-date on the latest safety and coaching techniques. Our coaches work with children of all ages to teach athletics, healthy habits, confidence, goal-setting, dedication, and resiliency – all of which are instrumental in having a fun and challenging experience with gymnastics, tumbling, and ninja, but also carry over to other areas of life – including academics, social settings, other athletic activities, and beyond.
